Chandana Mahadeswaraswamy is the Director of Career and Professional Programs in the Division of Adult and Continuing Education (ACE) at LaGuardia Community College (LAGCC) focused on designing and implementing industry- informed workforce development initiatives for technology and healthcare sectors. ACE at LaGuardia Community College is one of the most comprehensive continuing education divisions in the country serving more than 30,000 New Yorkers and equips students which include immigrants, the underserved and underemployed—with skills and experience they need to enter into high-demand industries.

Prior to joining LAGCC, Chandana was the Director of English as a Second Language(ESL) Program at YWCA Princeton managing English Language Programs for workforce development and civic participation.

Chandana earned her MEd in Education from University of Massachusetts, MA in English Literature from University of Hyderabad, India and BA in English Literature from Stella Maris College, India.
